The European Green Deal is here! But what does it mean for Right to Repair and repairable products? Is recycling still the priority?

As part of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Disruptive Innovation Festival, we were invited to present the campaign and chat about the state of repair alongside some experts on the topic.

A new study reveals that extending the lifespan of smartphones and other electronics by just 1 year would save the EU as much carbon emissions as taking 2 million cars off the roads per year.

A host of household appliances including TVs, fridges, freezers and washing machines will be easier to repair after new EU laws were formally adopted on the 1st of October.

At the EU level, there’s a real opportunity for change. This is why several European organisations representing community repair groups, social economy actors, self repair and any citizen who would like to advocate for their right to repair launched a new Campaign!
